My favorite out of all the Jamaican restaurants on 52nd and Market. The meat is so tender and full of spice., Their curry is unmatched.

The best rice and beans I've ever had. I never thought I would care so much about rice and beans.. until I came here. The oxtails are great! The steamed cabbage is delicious. The jerk chicken is fire. But what really stands out.. is the rice and beans with gravy. It's crazy. You guys gotta come and try it out

Gotta get here early for the oxtails, but I have never been disappointed. The plain jerk chicken- no sauce is perfect. Brown stewed chicken is usually ready around 2-3pm and is worth waiting for. But I love the oxtails more. Absolutely the Best.

I've been eating here for 11 or 12 yrs and I've never had a bad experience. I usually get the oxtail or jerk chicken, both are delicious! They give you huge portions and they have 2 sizes which are both packed with food. I'll add pictures. I use to get the steamed snapper on Fridays but I'm not sure if they still sell that. I've been meaning to ask but each time I'm there to pick up I only want to get my food home to eat it. I've also had the brown stew fish, bananas.

This to me is the best Jamaican take out spot in the city! Not the best location cause it is in the hood, a hole in the wall but the food is good. I only give it four stars due to the customers service which I would give a 1 by itself. But the food is always on point which is why I put up with the sour faces of the staff and the long waiting! Their attitude toward their customer is 'as if you are not paying for their product', as if they are giving you something for free - I digressed. Anyway, the oxtails were soft, seasoned to the bone, not boiled but stewed. Rice and beans tasted like homemade, fish, curried goat everything I ate was great. the negative comment is with their customers service. You guys need to work on that! If that bad service continue people will stop patronizing you.

Favorite place to get Jamaican food when I don't want to cook it. Always tasty, their ackee and fish reminds me of how my grams and aunt made it back home! Love this place.

Best jerk I've had to date in Philly... although having the best jerk in Philly is not much for validation. The sweet comes through well up front complimented by a slow building heat. The curry goat is on point. Pretty decent meaty pieces that are thoroughly/well cooked and come nicely off of the bone. Not at all overly salty like a lot of places. The curry itself used/in the gravy is somewhat light and balanced with a nice subtle ginger presence. Definitely cooked slow & long... the bones open up and pull a good bit of juice in = can suck on them for a while. The goat head soup is delish and the rice-n-peas are solid. The cabbage is also cooked very well... softened, yet still slightly firm. (I'd prefer more seasoning)
